We have invested in a portable CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine) device which offers high speed dynamic measurement.
The equipment is a Leica Absolute AT960 Laser Tracker and allows us to accurately perform verification on patterns that have been produced by our in-house 5-Axis machine. The laser tracker is also used to verify tooling and manufactured components against CAD models. The data collected can be used to produce detailed reports on the tolerances achieved for parts and tooling.
