Norco Supports Julia’s House with Christmas Tree Collection Initiative

Norco is proud to announce its participation in the annual Christmas tree collection service organised by Julia’s House. The initiative, which aids in recycling real Christmas trees, is taking place from the 11th to 13th January across Wiltshire and Dorset.

This year, Norco has stepped up to contribute to this environmentally friendly effort by providing a lorry and our dedicated driver, Clive, to assist in the collection process. The collected trees are being transported to local designated recycling centres, where they will be recycled into chippings for use in local farms and community areas.

Julia’s House, a local children’s hospice in Dorset and Wiltshire, is running this eco-conscious service for the third consecutive year. Households registered their trees for collection and had the option to make a donation. These contributions are invaluable, directly supporting the hospice’s work in caring for seriously ill children and their families.

Last year, the initiative successfully recycled 630 trees and raised over £7,000. Claudia Hickin, Community Fundraiser for Julia’s House, expressed her gratitude for the ongoing community support and emphasised the importance of these contributions in providing essential care.

We encourage everyone to join us in supporting Julia’s House and making a positive impact this year.
