Architecture including Self-Supporting Structures

The use of composites in architecture and design has grown considerably as designers continue to push the boundaries with large civil structures and exceptionally high quality finishes. The primary benefit of composites for artists and architects is the limitless possibilities for the shape and size of the parts which can be produced.

The widespread use of CAD software in architectural and artistic design has enabled composite manufacturers to utilise large scale CNC milling techniques to produce accurate composite patterns and parts, keeping the end product true to the design.

Composite materials can offer architects and designers value and performance in the realisation of large scale structures for increasing numbers of both commercial and residential projects.
