At NORCO, we are certified to ISO-9001:2015 in Quality Management which demonstrates our strong customer focus, motivation & implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement.
ISO-9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It ensures a high standard of efficiently and improved customer satisfaction.
Our quality management system defines how we meet the needs of our customers and is based on the idea of continual improvement.
The primary focus of quality management at NORCO is to meet customer requirements and to strive to exceed customer expectations.
Our ISO-14001:2015 accreditation provides assurance to our company management and employees as well as customers that NORCO’s environmental impact is being continually measured and improved.
ISO-14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. It assists us to improve our environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste.
We use a management system to consider all environmental issues relevant to our operations, such as air pollution, water and sewage issues, waste management, soil contamination, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resource use and efficiency.
We are dedicated in taking a strategic approach to improving our environmental performance and the need for continual improvement.
We take our cyber security very seriously and are certified to Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, UK Government backed scheme that ensures our IT system is protected against cyber-attacks.
Our Cyber Essentials compliance gives customers peace-of-mind that their information is safe and that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks. Cyber attackers are looking for easy targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
Cyber Essentials Plus still has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach, and the protections are the same, but for Cyber Essentials Plus a hands-on technical verification has been carried out.
As a result, we are able to bid for central government contracts which involve handling sensitive & personal information, and the provision of certain technical products & services, as we have Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus Certifications.
NORCO is a member of JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register). This register is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence, and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information.
JOSCAR certification reduces the time, cost and resources and duplication needed to provide information to major buying organisations.
By using JOSCAR, NORCO demonstrates it is “fit for business” and reduces third party risk in the supply chain.
